The hostel was one of the cleanest and possibly THE cleanest places I have ever stayed and I have stayed in hundreds of places. The owners keep it scrupulously clean and carefully. They are also very nice, helpful and speak good English, having lived overseas many years. It has a lovely personal touch to it. The bed was comfortable with a nice mattress, good sheets and feather quilt. It was wide enough space and had its own light and charging socket. The common area downstairs is very attractive and you can use the fridge and there are some sweet snacks provided too. It's a very welcoming area. Breakfast was nice fresh thick bread with toaster next to it, margarine and jam sachets, coffee and a variety of teabags are provided along with a boiled egg and mandarin. I'd describe it as a 'simple' breakfast, not 'exceptional', as Booking.com describes it, but very welcome, because the hostel is not very near shops. You can use fridge etc, which is most useful. Almost everything is well thought out. The front door keypad is easy to use and the warm tiles at entrance are excellent in winter. The towels were good quality and dried well. Everything necessary was provided in the bathroom. Overall it's a very good hostel and it is exceptionally clean.

Host and family very nice and helpful. The breakfast is simple but good. The facilities are well equipped, the bed is confortable. The location is quite good from the center (about 40min by foot from the TV tower and ōdori park) and easy to reach by shuttle bus from/to the airport!

Great place to stay in Sapporo. It's in a calm neighbourhood, but you can reach the city centre quickly by taking the tram, which is only a 5-minute walk away. There's a Luup bicycle rental station one block away, which is also convenient at night, just make sure to set up the app beforehand. Check-in was easy, and the owner showed me around and explained how everything works. There are hangers, shelves and a locker in the room for every bed. The owners also had some great tips on what to see in the area. There's a small breakfast and free cookies. It all felt very personal. Guests were quiet and respectful. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.
