This was the best experience with booking I've ever had. I'll start with the facts - there's a huge parking lot that belongs to the accomodation, so it's perfect even if you're not so good with parking. When I arrived, the host came with me to show me where to park, I was offered water and palinka as much as I want (I didn't try palinka as I don't like it in general). He showed me around, showed me my room. I had a huge bed, nice bathroom, maaany clean and nice smelling towels (4-5). I had a balcony as well, a huge one with nice sitting and a view of the church. Then when I came back, a received a huge bunch of recommendations of what to see and how far it is, and he wrote it to me on a paper as well! And he gave me gifts - some souvenirs of the village and he even explained to me the meaning. This literally never happened to me, and I was staying there only for one night. I also got a plenty of water because there was a problem in the village with drinking water, as they're fixing the pipes. I used the kitchen for the dinner, is very well equipped and I made coffee in the morning - tea and coffee is for free throughout the whole stay and there was many options. He also gave me recommendations for the restaurants and shops. Overall he was super super nice, I checked out, while still parked at the accomodation, went to visit the sights and come back - the Merry cemetery is like 2-3 minutes by walk from the accomodation. Absolutely recommend this stay, go there if you're staying in Săpânța.

This was clean, comfortable and so close to the places I wanted to go. By mostly, I loved that the owners were locals and really happy to spend time with me. Iulian made sure I saw everything and took time out of his day for me. The open hearts of the people in Maramures are such a beautiful thing and the owners here are lovely people.

Very cozy and comfortable hotel with a super-hospitable owner who greets you with a shot of Palinca, explains everything about nearby tourist atractions and provides you with a paper list. The hotel has it's own secure parking (behind closed gate) and guests can use very well equipped kitchen with coffee machine.
