My partner and I stayed in one of the bungalows for 3 nights and loved it! Mama Gia and the whole family are very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy hiking in the Sapa area, then this is the place for you. I will definitely stay here again when I am next in the area. The hiking tour organised by the homestay was also excellent, definitely off the beaten track

Like everyone mentioned, Mama Gia is an awesome lady, her son who came to pick me up as the place is at the top of a village about 35min drive from the centre. I had the best sleep in this bed, views were astonishing (when no fog) and the shared dinner was great (lots of specialty local food). I would love to come back, my stay was very short.

We had an amazing stay. Mama gias family was super open and we felt immediately like we were part of the family. We had family dinner together, went on a trek with her and her niece and played cards and even celebrated her grandsons birthday. I had such an amazing experience and had fun learning about the tribes culture ! Highly recommend

Mama Gia and her family were so welcoming and kind. We booked the 2-day trek which included lunches, dinner and breakfast with Mama Gia as our guide for $100usd for 2 people + accomodation cost. It was an excellent experience and Mama Gia was very open to sharing about her culture. There is a beautiful view of the rice fields and the valley from the accomodation. The shower has very hot water and is shared with the other guests. There is also very good wifi available. All the meals provided were great. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are passing through Sapa and want a Homestay experience.
