We had a lovely stay here despite some patchy weather The hotel itself is of an excellent standard with well appointed rooms and communal areas together with a pool and jacuzzi (although the weather wasn't good enough to use them) The staff here were all very friendly and welcoming

We visited here on Madeira Island in our second accommodation after our visit to Funchal. It is located on the north side of the island, where the sun does not shine at all. This makes the place seem colder and darker than the south side of the island, where the sun shines. However, it is conveniently located for driving and hiking around the island. It is also a good and convenient place to stay for a few days, with several restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries.
