We rented the whole house even though there were only two of us! We had full access to all of it. It was very good value and a luxurious stay. The kitchen is enormous and the swimming pool was lovely. The two caretakers were extremely nice and very helpful too. We were there during one of the big storms in October but that didn’t stop us swimming! Lots of outside seating, a bbq area, games room… I could imagine what fun a large group could have here, but we loved it too. Tomar is a nice old town, the monastery was huge and interesting, and there’s a pleasant park. We also went to the dinosaur footprints which are about an hour’s drive away - there are lots there and it’s a pleasant afternoon ramble around the quarry - they showed up particularly well after all the rain we’d had.
