We stayed at the hotel twice during our trip. At the very beginning and at the very end of the journey. The staff was super helpful. Within the approx. surroundings you will find plenty of restaurants of all cuisines. This made it very easy to find something to eat. However, beware of the Brazilians having dinner later than "usual in Europe". The hotel is also in walking distance to Batman Street. If no traffic, it takes 30 mins to the airport. With traffic it can easily be 45-60 mins.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to the Batman Street and to many good restaurants and bars. In rush hour it can take 1 - 1.5 hours by Uber/cab to/ from the airport. Otherwise is the drive manageable in 30-45 Mins.

I have been staying in this hotel for six years every time I am staying in São Paulo alone or with my family. The location is fantastic because it is surrounded by a green neighbourhood which is rare in São Paulo. Despite the poor quality restaurant of the hotel, there are more than twenty restaurants walking distance in a safe area for the capital.

The George V is exceptional in all aspects. The staff is super friendly and the service is totally guest-oriented. The rooms are perfect in size and always clean. The breakfast is typical Brasil. We will surely come back.
