The whole space is very relaxing and you get to be completely immersed in nature while staying in an amazingly clean and comfortable house. The pool is very well designed combining a flatter part where you can lay down in the water and deeper part to swim. The house is prepared for all kinds of weathers and we managed to enjoy the sun and the pool during the day, to have dinner in the outside table while being protected from the cold and during later hours to enjoy the comfortable living room. The hosts were always available, amicable and ready to answer our questions. We were given precise directions on how to reach the house.

The house is absolutely amazing! Set in a beautiful and peaceful location, the house was really clean and filled with everything we could possibly need. Our stay was truly delightful.

A truly exceptional property with all the facilities you can think of (and more!) set in the heart of Portuguese Cork-oak woodland (montados), isolated but not remote; the property and the location are both stunning. Our flight was delayed but the owners took it in their stride and put themselves out to receive us. The nearby Roman remains at Mirobriga are well worth a visit if that is your bag and we found an excellent traditional Portuguese restaurant 'A Cascalheira' in the village of Brescos on the way to the coast which is less than half an hour away by car. very unique location very nice host. very new and clean Bottle of wine and cheese and basic stuff provided in the kitchen up on arrival. super appreciated. fire places was already prepared with wood.
