The setting is absolutely stunning - Mount Santubong in the hinterland and the South China Sea in the foreground. The grounds of the hotel are also beautifully maintained. The cooking class offered by the hotel is great. I’d recommend it - fabulous produce, really good and insightful instruction and good fun. A great way to spend a rainy couple of hours. We opted for half board given location and lack of nearby quality restaurants. The dinner menu is extensive and the food excellent. Our room with sea view balcony was very spacious and clean. The hotel offers a complimentary car service to the local shops - we used this a couple of times - it’s a great service. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional.
