This hotel is 17th century palace. Amazing place beautifully cared for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and served either in breakfast room or outside patio area. There were several lounge areas with comfortable seating and games and books. There are plenty of good restaurants in the village. Best to book as evenings can be busy. The village is car free but there is a car park a short walk away.

Quaint hotel right in the old town. Lovely atmosphere. Room basic. Heating came on late. Basic bathroom. Room opened up onto square. Fabulous breakfast included. Welcoming staff. Excellent location.

The building and the period interior of this hotel was spectacular. An old stately home converted hotel that retained all it's old world charm. Fabulous period furniture. Beds were super comfortable and as it was a cold night heating was great. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
