Good location but the photos give the impression of brightly lit rooms, high windows, good views and luxury. We booked a €100 room and it was tiny, no external window, the window was obscured and when opened revealed a view onto an internal hotel corridor!the photos are a misrepresentation of this hotel and it is not priced accordingly. We asked to change rooms and the reception were obliging (eventually) but we had to pay in full for the upgrade so it all became VERY expensive . There are far better value places to stay. The other staff in the hotel were so nice though, friendly and the restaurant staff were helpful and cheerful. Do check all the photos in detail before booking. We had walked the Camino and this was supposed to be our reward at the end…. It wasn’t … we were very disappointed

The hotel is of an extremely high standard, staff are friendly and obliging. The attached taberna serves excellent local dishes. The location is without compare. I unreservedly recommend this hotel to future visitors to Santiago.

Everything! Beautiful room, spacious overlooking square and a minute’s walk from Cathedral. Great breakfast and lovely cafe/bar. Fabulous staff.
