Well located in Santiago, very quiet and clean. It was a single room with shared bathroom facilities. The setting and grounds were magnificent.

There is a huge problem started on 16th July 25 The owners are clearly in depute or have issues with the leaseholders running the Albergue’s and have put security on the gate only allowing entry for those with a pilgrim credential. Some arrive at Menor intending to collect a credential there with onward journey. Security even stop you from reentering without a credential when heading into town after checking in. It’s a nightmare and until this situation is resolved find alternative accommodation. A real shame as I sense an attempt by owner to force closure

We stayed at Seminario Menor for two nights at the end of our Camino. It’s a grand and imposing building with views over Santiago, clearly set up to accommodate a large number of pilgrims. Despite its size, we each had a simple single room, with shared bathroom facilities that were clean and plentiful—there was never any wait. The laundry area was excellent, with efficient machines and electronic payment. There’s a lift as well as stairs, which was appreciated after several weeks of walking. The kitchen was fairly basic, though many people probably choose to eat out at this stage of the journey. The location is a short walk from the centre—far enough to be quiet, but still within easy reach. While the building itself lacks a bit of character due to its size, it’s practical and well run. That said, getting from the front door to our bedroom did feel like one final stage of the Camino.
