Lovely hotel with very well appointed rooms. Great shower and the smart lighting etc was really good. Having chromecast on the tv was good for streaming shows from the Ipad. Huge bed with beautiful high thread cotton linen. Fluffy robes and slippers are in the room for guest use and nice toiletries provided. Outside garden space was lovely to sit in. We had lunch here and it was great. Good quality and reasonable prices. Location is great for beach access and a bus stop outside gets you into the centre of the city in 10-15 mins. Santander is partial to rain and the hotel helpfully provide umbrellas for guest use at the front door. Really welcome and a nice touch. Free water and nespresso coffee are provided for the room and topped up on request. Again, lovely service and attention to detail. Only slight negative we had was dinner in the hotel. We tried this once and unfortunately the food was just not up to the standard of everything else. It seemed frozen then microwaved. We had to send a meal back but the staff were understanding and removed it from the bill. Overall, this didn’t ruin our stay and we would would definitely consider this hotel again if we are in Santander. Should also note that breakfast was lovely and included in our room rate.
