Joao is truly one of the most generous hosts I have encountered in my many travels. He went out of his way to give us advice and recommendations for our travels in Sao Tome. The lodge itself was lovely, with the rooms facing the ocean and the meals exceptional. I can't recommend it enough.

The cabins are very comfortable and well designed, with beautiful views of the coast. The whole place is lovely and peaceful and feels like home. And Ilena, Joao and their team are all extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable.

This really is a gem of a place on the east coast, run by wonderful people. The room was perfect, spacious, clean and comfortable, the view is superb and the hosts are truly lovely. The food is the best I had on the island. You won't regret staying here!

I stayed here upon just arriving in Sao Tome and wow oh wow. The location is sublime. I truly arrived in paradise. I was met with a warm and hospitable welcome and made to feel at ease. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious. The strong WiFi helped as I started to get my bearings and look up where to travel to next. I will return!
