Sant'Agnello is a very good place to stay at. You are very close to Sorrento while avoiding all the tourists. The walk to Sorrento is about 20min and is quite beautiful. But you also have an easy access to trains and buses that can take you anywhere. The breakfast offers continental (warm and savoury) options along with the traditional sweet Italian breakfast. There is a bar as well as a restaurant (but we didn't try them).

Great location and good value for money for the price. 5 min walk to the stations and a small private beach (14EUR each to enter). I kindly got upgraded to the super double room which was very nice and comfortable with a balcony. Pool was nice for relaxing but right next to the train line so every 30 mins or so a train would whizz by very loudly. Don't stay here if you want an authentic Italian experience with Italian food but fine if you can get a good deal and want somewhere comfortable with a pool for a couple of nights.
