We spend 4 nights here with my mum in October 2023. The landlord speaks some English, so there was no problem with communication. The place was fine, pretty much like pictures, the pool was closed which we knew, however looking at it it looked pretty awful, not quite like in the picture -, not sure how it looks during season and it is a shared pool for multiple appartments in case you care about it. To arrive with a car is a MUST, it is a very quiet place, there is not much to see in the village, some restaurants, small beach with rocks which was not the nicest. However, if you use the place just to sleep over it has all you need. Private parking, it is fully furnished, clean, nice garden, view on Etna and a supermarket just a 5 minute walk. Taormina and Letojanni is about 30mins ride by a car, Etna 45mins, Catania pretty much the same. To get and return the keys was also simple. Value for money was ok. Overall we had a good time for the purpose of our trip.
