Really clean and comfortable. Host was very friendly and helpful - really recommended staying before or after you come back from Tayrona park

Teodor was very hospitable and helpful from initial contact (note he speaks no English). The rooms were spacious. It was a 15-min walk to the El Zaino entrance to the park - downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back. Two fans in the room, which meant we had one each. There's a nice little seating area/deck. Very secure.

I recently stayed at deep forest and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay considering the affordable price. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Although the hotel didn't have a ton of amenities, everything that was offered was of excellent quality. The food was particularly noteworthy - it was delicious and satisfying. I found the location to be convenient, as it was close to Tayrona park. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at deep forest and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option that doesn't skimp on quality. The limited services didn't bother me at all as I was primarily using the hotel as a place to sleep and shower. It was exactly what I needed and I was more than satisfied with my experience.

Everything was perfect but the host is extraordinary! Very helpful, cheerfull and generous. Offered much more than had to. His place is beautifully located. Nearby river made us a lot of fun. I fully recommend!
