We had an absolutely excellent stay at Meliá Tortuga in Cabo Verde. Everything about the hotel was outstanding, from the service to the entertainment, but the food and dining truly stood out. The quality and variety of the food were exceptional and noticeably better than at other Meliá properties we’ve visited. The atmosphere was fantastic, the entertainment was enjoyable, and every meal was a highlight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we genuinely had the best time there. We would happily return and highly recommend Meliá Tortuga to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing holiday.

The buffet restaurant was genuinely very good: varied, tasty, and well organized, with friendly and attentive staff who clearly did their best. The hotel grounds are spacious, green, and well laid out, and even when the hotel is full, it never feels overcrowded. The location itself is pleasant, with direct access to the beach and plenty of open space, which makes the overall environment relaxing despite the infrastructure and hygiene issues. The buffet staff, in particular, stood out as the most professional and welcoming part of the experience.
