Renovation work is done from June to September daily. The hot spring are under renovation.Hot spring bath is complimentary and requires a reservation.Please note that the hot spring bath will be closed from 1/7/2025 to 30/9/2025. Hot sping bath will open for Friday and Saturday only. The hot spring bath are closed from Sunday till Thursday.Male hot spring bath will available during Friday 6.00PM till 7.45PM and Saturday 8.15PM till 10.00PM.Female hot spring bath will available during Friday 8.15PM till 10.00PM and Saturday 6.00PM till 7.15PM.If would like to access to hot spring bath, must booked with hotel frontdesk.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was large and comfy, with wacky (fun) bear decorations! A great location- nice and quiet but in the heart of the Sanxia district, and close to mountain walks

Spacious twin room for 2 pax even came with a sofa and coffee table. Windows were working so ventilation was good. Generally very clean. Breakfast was superb with both local and western options. All in all good value!!!

Lovely experience staying here for a short trip. The room was spacious and even had a couch and pantry counter! Breakfast was really good with a variety of food - Taiwanese and continental. Worth the money definitely. And it was just a short walk away from convenience stores.

My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. Great complimentary breakfast and wonderful location in Sanxia with easy access to all the key places we need to go to by foot. Thank you all again till next year...Best Jane and Eric
