Everything was perfect: from the room that was spacious and silent, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was also big. This was the first time for me in that area and this Gasthof was actually a perfect choice. The breakfast was also really good. In addition, we tried their restaurant for the two nights of our stay and the food was DELICIOUS! Real German homemade food. Highly recommend for a stay

We messaged that we would arrive around 12 pm and it was no problem at all. The host gave us the 'best room' he said and it definitely exceeded our expectations. It was a big room with a separate seating area and a huge balcony that allowed us to enjoy the sun throughout the day. We had our bikes with us and we could store those safely in the shed. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast by itself but the possibility was there to extend it with extra's via a menu. We found this a great way to minimise throwing away food. Instead of putting everything on the table, let people decide what they want. We also had dinner twice at the restaurant and that was absolutely perfect! The menu consists of Asian, vegan and German dishes. A strange combination you might think, but it works. The host makes the greatest Thai curries and it brought us straight back to Thailand. They are absolutely delicious but then again he also has former 2 Michelin star chef working in the kitchen so you can expect something good ;). Next to all these great experience, we also want to give the host, Werner, our sincere compliments for being such a great host. Not only does he have his business under control he is also a very fun person to talk to. We recommend this accommodation to anyone!
