David “A GREAT OPTION IN THIS AREA”

Although listed as a youth hostel, it takes people of any ages. We were three adult males travelling by bike and booked a triple room with three single beds. Although small, it was adequate for one night. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour before the appointed time. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel was able to provide us with secure overnight accommodation for the bikes, which was very beneficial to us. The hostel also provides a dinner at a cost of €20.50 each. Probably a bit expensive but very convenient. It was a buffet dinner with plenty of food available. As we were riding over Obertauern Pass the next day, we hoped for an early start. The hostel was happy for us to access breakfast prior to the alotted time. Good value for money.

The room was basic but met all our needs. The breakfast was amazing and had several gluten free and dairy free options as standard. The kitchen staff were extremely helpful to make sure we had safe foods to eat.
