The fine print

BELINDA “An enjoyable stay in Sandakan”

We really liked this hotel. It is fairly basic but clean and comfortable and the staff are welcoming and helpful. What really makes it stand out is the buffet breakfast in their adjacent Aroma restaurant. They will make a fresh omelette for you right in front of you and there are lots of hot local dishes to choose from as well as fresh homemade cakes such as banana cake and good coffee. It is in a good location by the waterfront with parking right by the hotel. The hotel's Aroma restaurant also serves a good lunch but like so many establishments round here is halal so no beer or pork. But Bistro 88 is a short walk round the corner. The hotel was a very pleasant discovery.

The room size was a bit small. Comfortable bed. Location near the waterfront and next to a mall. The room lighting was nice, not too bright. But got bright light for the mirror for makeup purpose.
