Incredible host - kind and friendly. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean, with really nice furnishings. We were given some of the owner's cheese and some Easter chocolate upon arrival (thank you!) as well as an introduction to the area and some recommendations. The bathroom was really clean and the kitchen was well equipped, and the private parking was a big plus. The location is perfect - nestled in a quiet wine and cheese village, and only a 5 minute drive from the town of Sancerre. Lovely and quiet at night with some village energy during the day. Genuinely can't fault this lovely little gîte.

Great location in the sweet village of Chavignol, very close to Sancerre. Beautiful views of idyllic vineyards.

We stayed here for one night (with our dog) and really enjoyed it. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and a really lovely village location. The parking outside the front door was an added bonus. Would highly recommend, and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful little town, and the apartment delightful. Clean, roomy, nice bathroom. Great location athough most everything was closed on the Sunday/Monday we were there.
