we’ve stayed in San Sebastián 9 times in the last 9 years, in 7 different lodgings. Pensión Old City House is right up there with the best. Unbeatable location in the heart of the old town in amongst the action - Lovely tiny terrace allowing access to a cracking street view - but with double-glazing effective enough to keep out all street noise. Modern room - large, comfortable bed, good shower, small fridge and kettle available on demand. Spotlessly clean with daily room servicing included. A generous check out time of 11:30am as standard was appreciated. Good wifi. And a really wonderful host - Luca - who genuinely seems to enjoy meeting and engaging with his guests and is on hand (on Whatsapp if not in person) to give help and advice. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The location was perfect. Centre of old town. Our host Luca made us feel so welcome. The room and facilities were spotless. The bed was very comfortable and although we were in a very busy area , when the window was closed it cut out the noise adequately. Slept very well and would highly recommend this establishment.
