Centrally located in the Zona Rosa. Close to where we were catching the Pullman bus to Guatemala the next morning; relatively cheap. The facilities are okay, not fantastic, but there's a private bathroom. Staff is friendly, they kept some things for us to be picked up by friends for several days.

La Zona is a great hostel in San Salvador. Around the area, you'll find many nice restaurants and shopping malls.

Great room, very spacious. Noisy from the traffic as well as a social area outside of the room. The doors weren't well fitted so noise and light came in
