Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).* This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Perfect property in San Pedro de Atacama. Very quiet, great for stargazing in the evening. Franklin is very helpful and gives you all the tips on what to do and where to book tickets (not necessarily straight forward in Atacama). Breakfast is good (typical fare for Chilean hotels) and the fresh coffee is definitely a plus point. There is a fridge to store food/drinks that you can bring from town. Rooms are very comfy, quiet and well appointed.

Everything! Very charming and cosy lodges, nicely decorated. It is located a bit outside San Pedro but definitely worth given the calm and the wonderful views on the Licancabur volcano. Franklin, the manager is very caring and helpful and speaks one of the best English we heard in Chili. A must-stay while in San Pedro!

This place has a rustic charm, smart casual decoration and lovely views. It is wonderful to sit outside having breakfast in the morning or sit in silence with a glass of wine in the evening. But it is the service level and friendliness of Franklin and his wife that really make this a special place. Before we arrived we got a welcome message with directions and when we arrived Franklin introduced us to the lodge. We also got recommendations for tours and restaurants. As it take some time to walk to the city centre there are bikes to borrow. A highly recommended place to stay outside San Pedro.

The Atacama lodge was truly a perfect location to stay in the region of Atacama Desert. The bungalows lets you feel being closer to the nature, but also keeps very high standard and are very clean and comfortable. The crew were absolutely fantastic, and help you not only in the hotel oriented questions, but also in properly organizing your time in this region. A host speaks English fluently which makes it easier for non-spanish speakers. The breakfast was very tasty and the dining room contains a full set of plates, cutlery, pans, kettle and even a coffee pot. There are park spots for each bungalows and it is a perfect spot to start any trips in the region.
