This is a lovely place to stay.Location was perfect-a short walk to the main plaza...There were several cafés and restaurants nearby...The room was clean and comfortable and there was always hot water in the bathroom...The owner,Maria Florencia,is a lovely person-helpful,friendly and welcoming...She really makes the guests feel welcome and will go out of her way to help..She organised a taxi for me to take me to the bus station and gave me a lot of information about bus times...I am happy to recommend this place....Worth returning to...10 out of 10.

A traditional well-maintained hostal, simple but very clean, with well equipped common kitchen and patio. Every room has a little terrace on its own. It is a little oasis only a minute walk away from the buzz of city centre (Caracoles). Landlady was very attentative and friendly with great support.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shady courtyard. There is a kitchen available to use with a fridge and gas oven. The WiFi does not work unless you are sitting in the kitchen area which was not near my room. The 2 ladies I dealt with were both very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. They showed me maps of town and the property and where to go for meals etc. Excellent location on a quiet street but close to Caracoles.

Hostal Soncheck is like an oasis in the desert. The host Florencia is a kind and friendly lady. She texted me before arrival assisting me with transfer services and booking of tours.
