Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Very nice hostel just a 5-10 min walk away from the centre of town. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped so you can prepare food if needs be. The courtyard is also really nice to relax in. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day. There is a nice local restaurant across the road where you can have lunch and a pizza place just down the road so you don't need to go into town if you don't want to.

Warm rooms with a small heater available if needed (didn't use it as room was warm and so many people we met said their hostals were super cold with no heater), warm comfortable bed, hot water and good water pressure in shower. It was nice having a lamp in the room and shelves too. They tidied our room each day and gave us fresh towels. Kitchen was tidy and easy to use. Really yum and cheap restaurant across the road.
