Resort Overview

With excellent views of Belize’s Caribbean Coast, the Xanadu Island Resort is located only 1.5 km from the San Pedro town centre and offers free Wi-Fi and a private pool.
The resort’s 2- and 3-bedroom suites feature full kitchens, en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, TV’s, wardrobes and tiled floors. Each suite has a private terrace with a table, chairs and hammock and overlooks the pool and garden.
The resort offers free Wi-Fi, a private heated swimming pool, free bike and kayak rentals and a tour desk where guests can book trips to the reef to dive, fish, or to arrange trips to the mainland to enjoy jungle and/or Mayan ruins’ tours.
There is a supermarket, bakery, health-food store, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and more within a walking distance of Xanadu Island Resort.
Belize Barrier Reef, the largest in the Western Hemisphere, is located only 10 minutes boat ride from the resort.
The John Greif Local Airport is a 7-minute drive from the resort. There are also Water Taxi Companies, located 5 -10 minutes drive from the property, which bring and take passengers to and from nearby destinations, including Belize City and Caye Caulker.

The staff were excellent. The place was beautiful and relaxing, very quiet. Far enough away from the hubbub of San Pedro, but close enough to easily make the trip into town for eating and entertainment.

Staff are exceptional and the property is heavenly. It is unique and a once in a lifetime experience. From the water taxi pickup all the way to the water taxi drop off, the staff are exceptional, kind and accommodating. We were visiting for our anniversary and they even placed a box of chocolates in our room to celebrate. The property owners have done a fantastic job of incorporating the aesthetics of nature into a luxurious property and location. The only downside of writing this review is it may let this best kept secret out! Thanks again to everyone at the property for our fantastic stay and your unBelizeable kindness. xo
