Beautiful view over the bay of Porto pozzo and porto pollo. Very nice swimming pool and just a very good looking complex.

Anima Rooms and Pool is what it says, rooms with a great pool and spectacular views over the bay. It is in a beautiful spot in the small authentic village of San Pasquale. We loved going to the bar in the small square every morning for a coffee and cornetto with the locals. The room was spacious with a terrace and eclectic mix of furniture. Clean and tidy. The decent sized pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves. The views from the rooms and pool over the surrounding countryside and bays towards the Maddalena islands are spectacular. If you walk through the village to the lookout point they are amazing 180 views too. The Anima Rooms owners also own the Uo-man Pizzeria in nearby Porto Pozzo (5min drive) which was good pizza and they gave a discount for their guests. (There are other restaurants, supermarket, pasticceria/gelatteria in Porto Pozzo too.) It was an easy drive to the beaches at Porto Pollo (15mins) and much better value accomodation (we were there primarily for wingfoiling in the bay), 25mins to Arzachena. We found it a good location for a few days in between our stays south of Olbia then our next stop at Alghero. Very good value accommodation. The village is very small with a bar, good small friendly food store which can do great value filled rolls, and has fresh fruit and vegetables as well as general groceries. Also another butchers/food store. (No restaurants in San Pasquale itself). If you want a simple place to stay that is near the beaches in a beautiful authentic rather than touristy feeling spot, this is a great value place to stay. Anima means soul, the views will capture your soul.
