The owner is a great guy, very welcoming and super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and tours. The hostel is simple and intimate, clean and tidy. There is someone cleaning everyday and the owner is constantly tidying and sweeping. Beds are comfy and pillows are great. Breakfast is excellent. Super healthy and filling. We got eggs, toast, cheese and fruit. I think it changes daily. Great for boys and girls. Cooked for you. Highly recommend staying!

our stay at bamboo hostel was great. our private room was clean and with air conditioning (necessary as it is very hot). the bathroom is separate from the bedroom however. The common areas are cleaned at least once a day, the small courtyard with table and sofas is great for relaxing or meeting travelers. the included breakfast was very good, full of good fruits, eggs and tosted bread, it changed everyday. There is also a bunch of drinks available in the common fridge. Finally the owner was really nice and super helpful, he was attentioned and helped us book some tours.

Bamboo hostel is a super place to stay ! The atmosphere is calm and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel offers services not available elsewhere, such as laundry service, money exchange, and a gourmet vegetarian breakfast that's different every morning. The place is super clean and often cleaned. Milton, who runs the hostel, is very attentive to making sure that everyone has the best possible experience, and he recommended good places to eat or to see the night owls. He also explained to me that the hostel is one of the first in the area, but has only been on booking for a short time (hence the lack of reviews), but it's a place I'd warmly recommend.
