Great location in San Marino and only a few minutes walk to the main castles and other attractions. The balcony offered great views and staff were very friendly.

We stayed at Hotel Rosa in San Marino and were pleasantly surprised by its location in the 'old town', as it was right under the towers and just above the main entrance to this part of the city. The view from our window overlooking the hills of Emilia-Romagna, even from the first floor, was breathtaking and absolutely spectacular. The room had a fresh, modern feel to it and was absolutely spotless, with immaculate cleaning. The windows are soundproof, but the bedroom doors are not, so we heard people coming and going, especially as our room was right by the staircase and lift. This was not as much of a problem as we first feared, but it still deserves to be mentioned, especially since we had requested a quiet room when making our reservation, as both of us are light sleepers. The breakfast was standard, with a basic assortment of toast, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, etc. However, the staff went above and beyond in accommodating my dietary requirements and preparing our coffee beverages of choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome, as if we were staying at a family-run bed and breakfast. The lack of soundproofing in the bedroom doors and the breakfast were the only two things keeping us from giving it a 5/5 review, but please consider our review a 4.99.

Amazing location - I believe Hotel Rosa is the highest located hotel in San Marino providing not only beautiful views but also perfect base for exploring the area on foot and avoid too much climbing. Lovely breakfast, on site secure parking (€16 per night), nice clean rooms and comfy beds. 100% recommend!
