The location of the hotel is excellent, not far away from the airport and directely connected by means of a free bus to Old San Juan and to one of the main beaches of the capital. Both the common areas and the rooms are clean. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are spacious and well designed, with quite enough electrical light, many towels, lots of warm water, good toilet products, a coffee machine and unlimited free water bottles. There are many options for breakfast, also for vegetarians and vegans, with acceptably good food. Last but not least, the staff are wonderfully professional, helpful and kind - they behaved fantastically when I had an accident in the shower, advising a hospital and offering their cooperation for anything I may need.

The hotel is very modern and in a lovely area, with a big area next door with plenty of restaurants available. Theyngive a free shuttle to the beach and the Old Town. Food and drinks at the WXYZ bar was lovely as well. They gave discount vouchers to use as well.

I stayed at Aloft San Juan for one night before my cruise and it was a fantastic choice. The location is perfect — about a 5-minute drive to the Pan American Pier and close to lots of dining and entertainment options in Distrito T-Mobile. The hotel has a modern, upbeat feel with stylish rooms and friendly staff. Overall, Aloft San Juan is a great option for a short stay in the city, especially if you’re heading on a cruise. I’d definitely stay here again!
