If you're into quiet, relaxing, outdoorsy holiday stays, this is probably one of the most beautiful places you'll find in Tenerife. The location is a bit remote, but that's exactly what we signed up for. The house is very comfortable, has a very charming feel and look and has an amazing patio. Even in the middle of march we enjoyed many sunny hours in comfy patio chairs (although be aware that you're staying at 900m altitude; the weather can change in 10 minutes). Yes, it's located above a road, but there's hardly any traffic so no worries ther. Big bonus: El Teide views every morning from the double bedroom :-) You can start several hikes (or cycling adventures) from the doorstep. A car is much needed as the closest town (with good supermarket) is a 10 minute drive on a steep road. All in all, a true gem!

The house, or rather homestead, itself is very nice with a touch of rural history. Accommodation is very well equipped and offers more than adequate comfort for the price. As the house is located high up on the northern slopes of Parque Natural de Corona Forestal way far from noisy touristic resorts, it's ideal spot for those they prefer quiet place to spend the holiday. We spent two wonderful weeks here surrounded by nature with the perfect view of Pico del Teide and the Atlantic Ocean and La Palma as well.

We really liked the location of the house, even though it was bit off the beaten track. Absolute silence, calmness around. We liked the character of an old house. It was very well equiped, we could have used fireplace for BBQ and even small gas heater which is very handy when nights are cold. Also washing machine really helped us! And by the way, the outside shower is great!
