I enjoyed staying at Yellow belly backpackers. It was great to be out of the town but still in walking distance. Great to be able to walk to one of the Mayan ruins and a quick hop down the road to another. The breakfasts were nice to be able to eat when walking up and not have to go in search of food!!

The property is beautiful, the outside area is really nice and the whole thing is super clean. The staff were great and Buddy the dog was an absolute angel. We did the ATM cave tour through them and it was honestly brilliant. Great value for money and we got there early before it got too busy and our guide Damien was super fun and knowledgeable. The rooms were really comfy and the showers had great water pressure and warmth.

Amazing staff who were always available. Even offered to drive me to the ATM machine to avoid walking up the hill in such high temperatures. Despite not booking an A/C room, due to the high heat, they were kind enough to turn it on. Cannot recommend Yellow Belly highly enough.
