I liked everything ! It was like a dream. Tastefully decorated. The changing light during the day made the views mesmerising ,I didn't want to get out of the apartment ! The location just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the main street was perfect . Very quiet compared to hotels in the main square. Built right on the edge of the village very near from Porta San Giovanani, the view of the country side is not obstructed buy roofs or antennas ! Even the view from the bathroom is stunning ! Great freezer to stock a 4 days supply of gelato from Dondoli " World's best ice cream" ! Sylvia the owner is a beautiful person and has a shop in the main street and she is full of tips. Really, it was hard to leave the little nest she has created. I didn't have a car this time but next time, I will rent a car as it is the perfect base to explore Sienna and other small villages around.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The location was perfect – just a short stroll to the heart of San Gimignano, making it so easy to explore. The view from both the hotel foyer and our room was truly breathtaking – without a doubt one of the best views in San Gimignano. The hotel itself was quaint, charming, and full of character, which added to the overall experience. It also had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
