If you're looking for an experience of a different kind, I can recommend Hotel La Collegiate. 15th century old building steep in history. Grounds are immaculate. We stayed in the Master suite - Tower which provides you with a truly unique experience. Walking distance to San Gimignano and a great location to base yourself out of for a couple of days in Tuscany. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Interesting building and glorious surroundings. All staff, and particularly the manager were excellent. Great breakfast.
