had a wonderful stay at Old Station Hotel in Samarkand. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel is charming, with a nice touch of local character. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Samarkand!

Staff are really helpful and friendly. We only had the room for the afternoon as we were catching a late train, so instead of breakfast they made us dinner to go. The beds are comfy and rooms are a decent size. Good Aircon and WiFi. Really close to the train station.

We chose this hotel as it is just 5-minute walk from the train station and we had to catch an early morning train. Price is a bit high but facilities are very good - nice, clean room with view of the station and its surrounding. There is an inner rose garden by a restaurant which seemed only open for breakfast. The staff was nice and offered free tea/coffee and sweets as welcome gifts, as well as prepared meal boxes for us as we would leave too early for breakfast. Nearby there are trams into the city, a small market, and further to the road intersection there is a supermarket.
