The amenities, the room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpfull. Both restaurants have many types of food that can cover all tastes. Also panoramic bar has spectacular view. Breakfast is amazing (good coffee too).

People come usually for only a couple of days to Samarkand. We stayed for one week and were happy to have chosen the Hilton Samarkand Regency. It is a place if you search for a comfort and relaxing vacation. The hotel is located in the new district of Silk Road on the city border and far from the busy roads. The place is very quite but still offers some entertainment such as the boardwalk and the Eternal city on the opposite side of the Rowing channel. You get there by foot (~ 40-50 min) or taxi (~ 5 min). The taxi company serving the hotel had the best cars and drivers, and you will need them to go to the main historical places of Samarkand and the city center. The rooms are of European standard with some interesting features. The view is simply great. We have booked three rooms of different categories (standard and executive), and got a free access to the executive lounge for the standard ones. It made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much! The spa area is nice and has an excellent pool. The water temperature is very comfortable to bath with kids. However, they can‘t enter after 6 pm. Bear it in mind when you travel as a family. We took several treatments from the spa center as well. They were all performed by the masters from Bali and were very good. However, the prices are high for Uzbekistan. The breakfast was tasty (we will miss your local omelett and stuffed pancakes). The fruits were great, especially pomegranates. Last but not least. The laundry service saved my trousers after an accident with olive oil on the flight to Samarkand. Very fast and high quality service!
