The Emir is a new, inexpensive, and thoroughly nice place to stay in wonderful Samarkand. It is a 5-minute walk from the Amir Temur Mausoleum - surely one of the world's most glorious chambers. The charming owners - Dalir & Diyora - speak immaculate English and are as helpful as could be. The breakfasts are very generous.

A very authentic place in a great location. Delicious breakfast and one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in during our trip! Very quiet as well.
