The hotel is run by a lovely family who were all very friendly and helpful. On check in we were provided a list of recommendations including more local restaurants, cafes and bars. Great value for money

I had a very warm and welcome stay at Bergland Hotel. The owners and staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly and the room and bathroom were pleasant, spacious and clean (great value, especially for an economic room!). The location of the hotel is excellent: a 10 m walk to the old town, Mirabel gardens, etc). A great stay in a wonderful city!

From the second we arrived we knew we had picked a great spot. We were greeted by absolutely delightful staff in a homely environment. It was clear the owners genuinely love running their business. They had also prepared a list of restaurants we could visit, and offered maps and advice for our stay. The room was a very generous size and very charming. I would say in fact nicer than the photos. Nice big bathroom, lots of storage for clothes/bags and a comfortable bed. The location was great for us as we like being able to walk into the thick of it and then return to accommodation which is a bit quieter.

Great position close to town yet still quiet! Comfortable and spacious room. Very helpful owner with sightseeing and restaurants. Parking on site was appreciated.
