I absolutely loved my stay at this pousada in Salvador! The location is excellent, just steps away from Largo Santo Antônio, which I think is the best part of the Pelourinho. The whole place feels new, super clean, and very well cared for. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast — honestly the best I’ve ever had — served on a terrace with a stunning view. The staff is simply amazing: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. This was my fourth time in Salvador, and without a doubt, this is the best pousada I’ve stayed in. It can get a little noisy at night, but to be fair, that’s part of the charm of staying in the Centro Histórico — there’s no place here that’s completely quiet. I would 100% recommend this pousada and can’t wait to come back!

Very easy check-in and friendly staff. Nice spacious room in a lovely area looking out to the colourful street. Breakfast is at a place round the corner and really good, lots on offer and good quality.

Great location! The property is lovely and recently renovated. The host is very friendly and welcome. Breakfast was amazing, with freshly cooked local 'cafe da manhã', lots of variety.

We had a very lovely stay at Casa Almeida! Claudio and the staff are exceptionally helpful and I loved the breakfast. The room was clean and had a nice view over a square in Santo Antonio, which for me is the best neighborhood in Salvador.
