Heidi “Lovely little lodge, well specced and in a nice location”

Location was great, check in easy, the lodge is in a lovely quiet spot just a short (albeit steep!) walk to Runswick Bay. It is also right next to the Cleveland Way so we enjoyed a few morning walks out to the national trust coast path for stunning cliffside views. The lodge was clean and tidy and presented to a high standard. The bathrooms are lovely, with great shower facilities. Kitchen was well equipped and maintained - the only things missing for me were an cafetière and maybe a couple of plastic glasses for outside use, but that’s very minor! All the beds were extremely comfortable with lovely linens. We enjoyed using the hot tub and outdoor terrace. The owner was really responsive to questions - great customer service. We had a great stay.

Was a really clean and well presented place. Views around are lovely and nice distance from beach too. Hot tub was good. Bed really comfy.
