The hosts are a Romanian couple who were both very friendly and helpful towards us. And they both also speak fluent English. They gave us lots of useful information about Saliste and about România in general. The common kitchen/BBQ area is where we interacted with our hosts and the guests from the other apartment. But if you wish to keep to yourself you could equally remain inside your apartment as it has its own fully equipped kitchen with fridge and stove top etc. We parked our medium sized car in their driveway. Motorbikes are parked in their garage. We had no trouble navigating to their address via google maps. The apartment was quiet, clean and peaceful. Their dog is friendly and has been trained to stay away from the guests room (in case you don’t like dogs). There is a delightful restaurant in town and our hosts told us about the menu of the day which is not on the menu and is traditional Romanian food. Out of 3 weeks holidaying all over România, this was our number one stay!

Very friendly host - I won't forget the story about your motorcycle trips :) Beautiful location of the apartment situated at the foot of the Transfogaran mountains. Super clean and comfortable accomodation. Dogs welcome.

Very good place, good house and yard. Nice enviroment and the people are very helpful and friendly :) you can walk to town centrum and also to shop like penny. Also the naturen and Mountain side is very amazing to be in.
