We did not meet the host Natacha. We were looking for a quiet place near the west coast of Portugal and we found this apartment at the entrance of the town of Salema. Parking is spacious and freely available right under the house. At first glance, the overall reviews didn’t seem very high, but we noticed that over the years they have steadily improved, which made me realize that Natacha was paying more and more attention to managing the property — and indeed, that was exactly the case. For us, the priorities are always cleanliness and peace, and we found both here. The apartment, on the second floor without an elevator, is very spacious, clean, and in a strategic position to visit the beaches in the area. Inside, we found everything we needed, including olive oil, salt, vinegar, and coffee capsules for the espresso machine, which we really appreciated. The beds are comfortable, as is the sofa in the large living room. The coconut shower gel available in the two bathrooms added an exotic touch to our stay. The Wi-Fi works properly. Overall, a truly pleasant experience. We would be happy to return.

The location is nice. Although it is one of the first buildings as you enter Salema, the town itself is very small, so the beach is nearby. The apartment is cozy and the beds are super comfortable. It has a few toys for kids, such as dominoes, a wooden labyrinth, etc. Kitchen has everything you need. Two bathrooms is a nice convenience.
