The chateau is a secure and wonderful place to stay and the flat has most of what it needs. It is cool, attractive and self-contained. Salavas is a beautiful quiet village with lots of character, away from the intense tourist venue which is Vallon Pont d'Arc. It is very close to the Pont d'Arc and the Chauvet cave.. and enpought

Beautiful apartment on a beautiful location in a historical village, close to Ardèche highlights. We stayed here for two nights. The apartment has a lovely balcony in the back. We could park the car in the courtyard.

Friendly host. Spacey room on the ground floor with massive stone walls which make for a cool room temperature. I assume this is can be an advantage during summer but in April we had to use the electric heating. We could park our car in the courtyard.
