Location is AH-MAZING!! It is walking distance to the beach. Every afternoon I would walk along the beach seeing the amazing discoveries from the ocean waves. I would sit out on my balacony and strectch early in the morning, drink tea as I took in the morning sun. I would journal, prepare my ideas for the upcoming week, and listen to music. It really was a home away from home. The TV is quite large and you can cast or input your passwords to Netflix, Hulu, Shadad, and VideoPrime. The unit has starter supplies like a broom, dust pan, dish soap, sponges, utitlises, plates, bowls, pans, and a washing machine. (you'll have to buy your own washing powder) I stayed for 5 days and I did not want to leave. The area is a small town. I enjoyed walking through the town and taking in its sites. I went during Eid and many of the children dressed up in traditional clothes or their finest as they came out of their homes to meet other friends. There is a local business that turned their Omani home into a hotel. It is called Koofah Heritage Lodge. They have 12 rooms with traditional decorative rooms. It has a museum and souvenir shop. Near this location is the Taqah Castle and Taqah Fort (Burj Al-Askar) It does cost 1 Omani Riyals (OR) to enter the castle. Even though I have residency in Kuwait, the teller wanted to charge me 2 OR. However, I went to the fort first and then went to the castle. The Omani people are kind. A child wanted to invite me to her family's home for Eid dinner. The children see many tourists around and try to engage with their language skills. They break out in laughter when a non-local responds in their language. I spent most of the afternoon talking with one of the owners of the Koofah Heritage Lodge. I met his brother as he was the cashier in the souvenir shop. The museum is 1 OR to look around and ask a few questions. It was a relaxing and engaging experience.

It is very wonderful and has all the necessities. It has a balcony overlooking the sea directly and offers a stunning view. God willing, if I return to Salalah, I will book it. I highly recommend it. Thanks

It had a beautiful view and it was lovely to sit with some tea (or coffee from the coffeeshop just below!) and watch the waves from the balcony or lulled to sleep by its sound. The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable and the host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Great value for money!
