The apartment is outstanding. It's larger than we expected. 3 fabulous balconies. Everything you can imagine was thought of. Lots of extras and even a mug as a present to take home. There's also a great bar and restaurant next to the pool, the food and staff there were also outstanding. It's in a quiet area but easy to walk to the town, bars, restaurants. Beach opposite. We had a fabulous time and can highly recommend. Henning the property guy also deserves a mention as he was so helpful and such a nice person.

Very well maintained, spacious and comfortable apartment with informative and helpful host. Airport transfers all arranged with no hassle at all. Plentiful supply of bottled water, soft drinks, coffee, beers and snacks provided. On site pool with lots of space and supply of sunloungers for lazy days. Short walk (10 mins) into main part of Sal Rei with a good choice of restaurants available. Quad bike tour (South) a must and easily arranged - just amazing scenery and such fun riding the sand dunes and seeing the turtles. Can't imagine why anyone would bother with an expensive all-inclusive hotel package!

Where do you start - the apartment and hospitality were absolutely superb. From initial booking and asking many questions was pleased to receive very prompt response each time. We were met at the airport by Henning who then came back to the apartment to show us around, explained how things worked and even kindly carried our suitcases up to the third floor. The view from the property was great - overlooking swimming pool/beach from the balconies and more into the town area from the terrace (which had two sunbeds and outdoor shower). The apartment is huge and everything you need is provided - hadn't expected so many beach towels to be supplied and bottles of water left in the utility room and a real bonus was a washing line and pegs (even a washing machine if you were so inclined)!! Kitchen is very well appointed with all manner of appliances and kitchen equipment. Property is absolutely as described, it even has a small safe in every bedroom. The showers were brilliant - powerful with plenty of hot water. Henning, Verena and Corin were only a message away so any concerns they would respond immediately. Location was great - everything in walking distance (supermarkets, cafe's) although we did take a taxi most evenings to the local restaurants at a cost of 2 or 3 Euro. No problems with sunbeds - available throughout each day so no having to throw down a towel to reserve! The bar/restaurant at the Vila also offered good food, particularly breakfast.
