We had a lovely stay in Anne-flore’s beautiful home for two nights. It was well worth the cycle ride up from the Loire valley. The pool, bbq and food that Anne-flore prepared was lovely and the whole family made us very welcome. We will definitely be coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Château du Plessis Grimaud. It’s a very special place where Anne-Flore and her husband provide an exceptionally high service and have an amazing attention to detail. We loved their passion for nature and good food which included growing some of their own in their expansive grounds and also sourcing produce locally (for example bread which the ingredients for were grown by their neighbour and baked by them). Each morning we were treated to home baked/cooked items for breakfast including cakes, pancakes and homemade jams. Breakfast feel like such a treat! Later in the day ice and fresh water was put out for guests which was very welcome especially in some of the warm weather we had. The decor of our room and communal areas was beautiful and everywhere was very clean. We all loved the pool but our son particularly enjoyed it. He had lots of fun playing with the numerous pool toys. Anne-Flore and her husband went above and beyond to help us when we managed to lose our car keys whilst out for the day and we will be forever grateful for them coming to our rescue! Anne-Flore was very happy to spend time giving advice on great places to visit in the local area. We unfortunately didn’t manage to see everything in the time we had but this gives us scope to return one day to explore further. We were very sad to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau du Plessis Grimaud. It’s a truly beautiful place and the owners provide an exceptionally high level of service for their guests. As this was booked as an extra night, please see my other review for further details
