The property is well kept and has good quality fittings. It is situated behind a pub and a beer brewery that belongs to the same owner. Unfortunately we only spent one night but are considering revisiting the area with more time and would gladly stay at the Gîte de l'Ours. We didn't have the opportunity to taste the food but judging from their beer, it must be tasty and good. We spent a Thursday night in July and it was not noisy. The property is behind the pub and it was surprisingly quiet.

We needed an early check-in and the owner allowed us to to it without an extra fee. The location is beautiful, immersed in the countryside, with a convenient brewery downstairs for dinner (great food!) The apartment is neat and very clean, and quite spaciois.

The gîte is located in the heart of volcano country, 10 minutes away from Vulcania. It's clean, comfortable and attractively decorated, with a helpful, friendly owner who will give you advice on things to do in the area.
