The country setting with view over a valley and outdoor seating was pleasant. The room decor was nice. Meeting the other guests over the evening meal was enjoyable.

La Vallée du Moulin is a very quiet and relaxed property "out in the sticks" close to the small Véronne river which flows northbound to the pleasant twice-a-week market town of Pont Audemer. The surroundings are very green and pastoral. Sandrine who speaks a little English, and Mario who doesn't [well that wasn`t a problem for my travel companion and me], have made a really nice Chambres d'Hôte out of it and Mario, a native Rouennais gentleman, was an excellent host offering a chance to sample locally made organic beer and a choice from his own rum-based range of apéritifs. Very pleasant, worthy, quite simple but filling Table d'Hôte evening meal - NOTE on the night we went it was beef.

The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and had a wonderful ambience. The hosts were very amenable and the table d'hote was good. Really enjoyed my stay.
